The GREEK DESTINATION PLANNERS ASSOCIATION was founded in 2020 with a mission of elevating and unifying Greek wedding and event planners through promoting Greece as a prime wedding & event tourism destination, modeling exemplary standards in the creation of prestigious and upscale social and corporate events, demonstrating commitment to ethical practices in business, fostering relationships within the local wedding industry and developing better business practices.

We believe that “a rising tide lifts all boats” and therefore strive to raise industry standards, promote best practices and overall grown of Greek wedding and event planners but also an array of wedding and event professions across our country.
Our members are advocates of the role and impact event service professionals have on the success of events, the promotion of Greek tourism and the uplifting of our fellow industry members.
